BARCELONA: THE GALAXY S7 made its debut at this year’s Mobile World Congress, bringing a handful of incremental updates that Samsung no doubt hopes will boost sales of its smartphone line-up.
These small tweaks included the addition of a microSD slot, a feature sorely missing on last year’s Galaxy S6, and added IP68 certification that makes the handset resistant to water and dust.
You’ll also find the same 5.1in QHD screen as on last year’s model, but the S7 offers some performance upgrades with an octa-core Snapdragon or Exynos processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery.
