Here’s the Best of Target’s Confirmed Black Friday Deals

Thanksgiving dinner may still seem like a distant event for most of us, but Target today unveiled its official Black Friday ad for 2017.

Like most ads we’ve seen to date, it’s got its fair share of meaty deals mixed in with some lackluster sales. However, we’re here to cherry-pick the best of the best.

Interested in browsing through other Black Friday ads? Here’s our take on Walmart’s and Dell’s Black Friday circulars.

Best iPhone 8 Deal to Date: Planning on buying a new iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus? Target’s got your back. While there’s no dollar-off discount, Target is bundling a $250 Target gift card with the purchase of an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. To be fair, Sam’s Club is doing the same, but unlike Sam’s Club, Target isn’t a membership-only retailer, which means anyone can get in on this deal. Target is also slicing the price of the iPhone SE down to just $99.99, which is $60 off.

$300 Bonus with Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8: The iPhone isn’t the only smartphone that’s being bundled with a gift card. Target will also offer all of Samsung’s flagship phones with a bundled $300 gift card when you purchase them for Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T. To be fair, we’ve seen similar Galaxy deals before, bu they’ve usually been offered as trade-in discounts only.

Cheapest Echo Dot Ever: Sorry, Amazon, but it looks like Target’s $29.99 Echo Dot deal is going to obliterate your best Prime Day Echo Dot offer by a good $5. Target will also offer the Echo Show at $179.99 (that beats the only two Echo Show deals we’ve seen to date), the new Amazon Echo 2nd-Generation for $79.99 (first deal we’ve seen on this device), the new Fire TV Stick for $24.99, and the new Fire 7 Tablet for $29.99, which ties Amazon’s Prime Day deal from July.

Secret Nintendo Switch Bundle: The Nintendo Switch will be on many people’s shopping lists this year and so far Target could be the first mainstream retailer to offer a deal. While it’s not a dollar-off discount per se, Target’s Black Friday ad mentions a Nintendo Switch Bundle for $299.99. It forewarns that quantities may be limited and doesn’t mention what the bundle includes.

Video Games from $15: Need a cheap stocking stuffer? Target will offer a selection of console games from $15 through $35. Titles include Injustice 2, Ghost Recon, Skyrim, For Honor, and more. The PS4 1TB console will also sell for $199.99, which is tied as the lowest price we’ve ever seen for this console.

Google Home Mini Drops to $29: Target will offer Google’s new $49 Home Mini for just $29. Moreover, you’ll get a free $10 Target gift card with your purchase. Google’s Chromecast will also drop to $25 ($10 off).

Target’s HDTV deals are good, but not particularly breathtaking. For instance, the 49-inch TCL Roku HDTV for $349.99 is only $10 under Amazon’s current price for that HDTV. We’d suggest waiting for Walmart’s, Amazon’s, and Best Buy’s ads to make their debut before settling on any particular HDTV deal.
